Spaceman 2024 Movie Official Trailer Released

The first trailer has been released for Netflix's next project with Adam Sandler, Spaceman (not to be confused with Ridley Scott’s film of the same name), who will again show off his more serious side. A sci-fi drama, other leading roles include Saltburn’s Carey Mulligan and The Batman's Paul Dano. At less than thirty seconds in length, the Spaceman trailer reveals very little indeed. Usually there is Sandler’s astronaut Jakub splashing through a river in the middle of woods, and Dano's alien Hanuš introducing itself by voice-over. The synopsis goes into a little more detail about the dramatic conflict that sits at the center of the film: In Andarat (The Ancient), an astronaut comes to the conclusion that his marriage forgotten at home may not be there for him when he returns. He makes a desperate effort to win her back but is assisted by a strange ancient creature which crawls blackly from hiding in the bowels of his ship.

The tale of a Czech astronaut sent on a solo, perilous mission to explore the cosmic dust was developed from Jaroslav Kalfař's 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia. The story is of his loneliness, with the marriage increasingly in tatters back on Earth and him connecting to Hanuš.
